What an amazing bill...

Readymade Breakup is an amazing group of guys and a solid band. Seth and I have known these guys for many years, and our previous band did several shows with their previous band. Oh we go way back we do.. But yeah, I have to admit that I showed up a little late and only caught a couple of their songs. Sorry boys, though I loved what I heard...

Oh My God, in their splendor, seriously sweet. And sour, I might add. But mostly sweet. It was great seeing Ig and Billy again, and Mike and Zach were friggin brilliant on the guitar and drums. Great seeing Billy growing the beard out again. I love growing facial hair, but my face doesn't. (I can't grow sideburns). But Billy O'Neill? That man can grow a serious beard. Jealous.

For one, I must say that it was pretty awesome to have a crowd as great as it was for 11PM on a wednesday, especially after such late notice of being added to the showcase. But we played our butts off and introduced a new song "One Leap". Can't say it was the definitive performance of the song, but it was nice to finally debut it and give it some proper airtime.

Also, tonight was so special because so many good friends came out to see us. For some it's been years, and for others its been even longer. Big huge thank you's go out to Yon, Allison, Matt, Eric, Brian, Lauren, Liz, Karen, Todd Barnes, and even many more I didn't mention. Also HUGE thank you's to Pianos, Readymade Breakup and of course Oh My God.
